Privacy policy

What Google user data LifeOS accesses, why it is needed, and how it is protected.

Scope

This policy applies to LifeOS, a private, owner-operated productivity application maintained by Jeff Bilbrey. LifeOS is not offered as a public consumer service.

Google data LifeOS accesses

With an authorized user’s consent, LifeOS may access Gmail messages, threads, labels, and metadata; permission to send email only after exact approval; authorized Calendar lists and events; Google Tasks; and basic Google account identity information provided during OAuth authorization.

How Google data is used

LifeOS uses Google user data only to provide the user-requested email, scheduling, meeting, and task-management functions described on the LifeOS application page. Data is not used for advertising, profiling, credit decisions, or any unrelated purpose.

Storage and security

OAuth credentials and refresh tokens are stored locally in protected, non-public runtime storage controlled by the application owner. Raw sensitive payloads are not intentionally published or placed in public source control.

Sharing and disclosure

LifeOS does not sell Google user data, share it with data brokers, or transfer it for advertising. Data may be disclosed only when the authorized user directs a specific action, when required to operate the connection, or when required by law.

Retention and deletion

The owner controls locally retained LifeOS data. Access can be revoked through Google Account permissions. Local OAuth tokens and working data can be deleted on request; requests will be handled within 30 days unless law requires sooner.

Google API Services User Data Policy

LifeOS’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
