Pubfluencers is a full-featured marketplace platform connecting publishers and influencers for transparent, CPM-based content monetization. Publishers set rates for their articles, influencers earn by sharing content through trackable links, and the platform handles everything in between — click verification, payouts, analytics, and compliance. Built as a three-sided marketplace with role-based dashboards for publishers, influencers, and administrators.
01The problem
Publishers needed new monetization channels beyond traditional ad networks, but had no way to manage influencer partnerships at scale. Influencers lacked transparency into earnings and had no centralized platform to discover and share content. The process was fragmented across email threads, spreadsheets, and manual payment tracking — making it impossible to scale.
02The approach
Built a complete marketplace platform from scratch with dual payment processor support (Stripe and PayPal), automated click verification with geolocation tracking, real-time analytics with two-tier caching, and a comprehensive referral system. The platform includes WordPress integration via webhook-based content ingestion, W-9 tax compliance enforcement, and an admin notification system for critical events.

Integrated both Stripe (Checkout Sessions + Connect) and PayPal (deposits + batch payouts) with admin toggle controls, giving publishers and influencers flexible payment options.

Real-time click tracking with IP geolocation, verification rate trends, and two-tier analytics caching (in-memory + database snapshots) for fast dashboard loads at scale.

Dual-mode feed system supporting both RSS polling and WordPress webhooks for instant article creation, with user mapping and idempotent processing.

Referral & Affiliate System
Complete referral program with commission tracking on deposits and payouts, separate referral balances, and role-matched referral chains.

Automated W-9 submission and approval workflow enforced across all payout mechanisms before any funds are released.
